Salt & Cannon and Salt & Cannon mobile · last updated 20 October 2026

The game

Salt & Cannon (in the browser on a computer) and Salt & Cannon mobile (on a phone) are free games. By playing you accept these terms. The operator is named in the legal notice; how we handle your data is in the privacy policy. The game is meant for players aged 16 and over.

Fair play and conduct

If a captain breaks these rules we may rename the captain, remove content, reset progress or block the account, temporarily or for good — in proportion to what happened. You can ask us to review such a decision by writing to the address in the legal notice; we answer every request.

Reporting a problem or illegal content

Write to the e-mail address in the legal notice with where you saw it (captain name, port, time) and why it is a problem. We handle reports promptly and tell you what we decided.

Your progress and virtual items

Gold, silver, ships, upgrades, perks and every other item in the game are part of the game only: they have no money value, cannot be bought or sold for money and cannot be exchanged outside the game. The game may change — balance, prices, rules — and the world may be reset for a new season (prestige levels stay unless announced otherwise). We do our best to keep the game running and your progress safe, but the game is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it is always available or free of errors.

Advertising

The game shows sponsor banners (in the game world and menus) and, only if you allow it, Google advertising. A click on a banner opens the advertiser's website, for which the advertiser is responsible.

Your account

Keep your sign-in safe. You can download or delete your data at any time: start screen → “Your privacy choices”. Accounts unused for two years may be removed.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, as the game is free, we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations and only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory consumer law is not affected.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes are announced in the game. The laws of the European Union and of the operator's country apply, without taking away the protection that the law of your country gives you as a consumer. If there is a difference between translations, the English version applies.
